IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority)

Singapore’s statutory board for AI governance and SME digital adoption — not a competitor, a regulator/framework owner relevant to anything Meiree builds for the local market.

Relevant frameworks and tools

  • Model AI Governance Framework — voluntary, 11 guiding principles (transparency, explainability, repeatability, safety, security, robustness, fairness, data governance, accountability, human agency/oversight, inclusive growth). 2026 update added an Agentic AI annex (bounded risk, human accountability, technical controls, incident response).
  • AI Verify — IMDA + PDPC’s downloadable testing/self-assessment toolkit (now under the AI Verify Foundation), heavier than an SME needs directly but the right thing to reference/align to.
  • SMEs Go Digital / CTOaaS “Digital Health Check” — an existing free government self-assessment tool for SMEs (400K+ users in 2024), broad digital-readiness, not AI-governance-specific. Relevant baseline any Meiree SME diagnostic tool should differentiate against, not duplicate.
  • Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI) — grant scheme with explicit AI-readiness criteria (tech team ≥2, prior PoC experience, accessible data, ≥10 SG headcount, CEO sponsorship).
