Meiree — Status
Last updated: 2026-07-02
Where this stands
[Not derivable from the repo — I don’t know if this is pre-launch, soft-launched, or live with real traffic. What I can confirm: the homepage and legal pages are live in the meiree-website GitHub repo and auto-deploy to Cloudflare Pages on every push to main, and the current build has been pushed and deployed. Fill in: is anyone actually seeing this yet, or is it still pre-launch polish?]
Current pitch
“Adopt AI and cloud — with the funding sorted”
AI adoption + cloud/security + grant navigation (PSG, EDG, incoming EDGE)
as one bundled offer.
[Does this feel final, or still testing it? — your call. Corrected timeline below (git history), since the previous version of this note understated how long the prior pitch had actually been live.]
Positioning history (from git log, D:\Claude\meiree-website)
- Pre-2026-05-21 — original “two-founder gap narrative” (IT/Cloud/AI + HR/Coaching, “tech fails for human reasons, people programmes fail for structural ones”). Only ever traced through CLAUDE.md text, not confirmed live in any commit still in history.
- 2026-05-21 16:58 (
c20c76f) → 2026-07-02 13:48 (17bcce1), ~6 weeks — “Corporate IT, AI, & Cloud Engineering Partner” pitch, live the whole time: title “Meiree | Corporate IT, AI, & Cloud Engineering Partner”, hero “We Engineer High-Performance IT & AI Infrastructures”, three pillars Fractional CTO & IT Advisory / AI & Automation / Cloud & Engineering — no grants angle at all. Survived multiple unrelated commits (privacy/terms rewrite, mobile nav, brand shell wiring on 2026-06-02) untouched. - 2026-07-02 11:57 (
af3a7d2) — CLAUDE.md rewritten to announce the pivot to single-founder AI+Cloud+Grants — but it frames this as replacing the old two-founder gap narrative, which was already not what was live (the site had been running the Corporate IT/Fractional CTO pitch for 6 weeks by then). The docs were stale, describing a narrative that hadn’t been on the site since before May 21. - 2026-07-02 13:01–13:02 (
8198856,971a1d6) — visual redesign (cream/forest-green/amber theme) lands, but commit message confirms copy was “reused verbatim from the previous version” — i.e. still the Corporate IT/Fractional CTO hero, just re-themed. - 2026-07-02 13:48 (
17bcce1) — the actual pitch swap: Corporate IT/Fractional CTO → “Adopt AI and cloud — with the funding sorted” (current). This is the only commit that changes the hero copy itself. - 2026-07-02 13:56–13:58 — cleanup commits (stale setup doc removed, CLAUDE.md synced to match).
Net: the current pitch is ~1 day old as of this status doc; the pitch it replaced was live for ~6 weeks, not “earlier the same day.” Docs (CLAUDE.md) lagged behind the actual live site by weeks at one point — worth keeping in mind that CLAUDE.md isn’t a reliable real-time mirror of index.html; check git diff on index.html directly when precision matters.
Website
- Homepage: redesigned, cream/forest-green/amber editorial theme (Hanken Grotesk + Space Mono, accent
#D98A3D) - privacy.html / terms.html / legal.html (existing, not new): intentionally kept on
the old dark theme — separate legal identity from marketing site - Shared header/footer component (
brand/shell.js, loaded fromcdn.meiree.com) now renders a “Legal” column (Legal / Privacy Policy / Terms of Service) in the footer — this is site-wide, so it affects any other Meiree product using the same shell, not just this site - Nav is manually kept in sync across all four pages (no shared stylesheet, no build step) — if the homepage nav changes, the three legal pages need the same edit by hand
- [What’s next / what’s blocking launch — not something I can answer from the codebase]
Open decisions
- md@meiree.com: no longer listed in CLAUDE.md’s contact section (it was present but flagged “confirm still needed” as of the last check; now removed entirely) — reads as killed, but worth an explicit confirm since nothing recorded why
- [anything else sitting unresolved — I don’t have visibility into this]
Not-yet-public
[I don’t have information on this — nothing in the repo or session tells me what’s internal-only. Leaving blank rather than guessing.]
Next milestone
[Not something I can infer — what does “done” look like for this phase, in your words?]
